And then there’s the Waterfront area, which is like the financial heart of the city. Some people call it “Wall Street West” because of all the sleek skyscrapers and luxury apartments. The views of the Manhattan skyline from here are just breathtaking.
What I love about Downtown is that it has a vibrant community feel. Whether you’re into history, great food, or just want to enjoy the scenery, there’s something for everyone. It’s definitely a place that captures the best of urban living with a touch of historic charm.

THE DOWNTOWN AREA OF JERSEY CITY IS FILLED WITH SO MANY FUN THINGS TO DO. SOME OF MY FAVORITES INCLUDE TAKING A WALK THROUGH OWEN GUNDY PARK ON THE WATERFRONT, CATCHING SOME QUIET TIME IN THE STUNNING AND HISTORIC PRISCILLA GARDNER MAIN LIBRARY, AND CATCHING A FUN GROUP FITNESS CLASSE AT IMPACT GROUP FITNESS ON 1ST STREET. NOT TO MENTION, THE NEWPORT MALL HAS IS FILLED WITH FUN ACTIVITIES FOR ANYONE TO ENJOY.
THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT OPTIONS FOR RESTAURANTS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA OF JERSEY CITY, SO HOW CAN YOU JUST PICK ONE? SOME OF MY FAVORITE LOCAL SPOTS INCLUDE HUDSON AND CO. RIGHT ON THE HUDSON RIVER, FIRE AND OAK ON WASHINGTON BLVD. AND ONDO A HIDDEN GEM ON THE WATERFRONT. AND OF COURSE IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO TAKE IN THE STUNNING VIEWS OF MANHATTAN, CHECK OUT THE ROOFTOP AT EXCHANGE PLACE.
